Kids Movin Up (KMU) is the children’s ministry of Word of Life Christian Center. We take great care in presenting Jesus in a way that is fun & relevant for the children of our church and community. We provide a safe, fun environment for kids infant through 6th grade to learn about God. Kids Movin Up is a place where kids can learn to have a relationship with God no matter how young.
You can make your first visit a little easier, by registering your kids in advance. When you visit your child’s classroom, our Kids Movin Up Team will confirm your registration and give you further instructions for future check-ins.
If it’s your first time bringing your kids to Kids Movin Up, don’t worry…we’ve taken care of everything! Just head over to your child’s classroom and we’ll meet your family and register you into our check-in system.
During registration, we will ask for the following information: family member’s names, children’s birth dates and grades, address, phone number, and any special instructions for your child (allergies, medical conditions, special needs). This helps us make sure your kids are safe while you’re enjoying the service! Once the registration has been completed, will be welcomed into the classroom by one of our Team Members.
If your family is already registered in our system, just head to one of the kiosks in the foyers.
You will simply enter the last 4 digits of your phone number into one of the kiosks. After selecting your child’s name on the kiosk, you and your child will be given matching check-in stickers for that service. Your sticker will be used as a pick-up ticket, and your child’s sticker will be used as a nametag. After service, you’ll return to your child’s room and show your pick-up ticket. A child will not be released to their guardian without presentation of their pick-up ticket.
If we need to contact you during the service, the identification number on your pick-up ticket will appear on the digital screens located to the left and right of the sanctuary stage. Just swing by your child’s room with your pick-up ticket and speak to the room leader.

A Dedication ceremony is the act of presenting your child to the Lord and a time to publicly make a commitment to pray for, love and guide your child toward a personal relationship with Jesus. Dedication is not baptism; nor does it impart salvation to the child. Dedication is the parent’s commitment to God to raise the child in His ways. At Word of Life Christian Center children are dedicated according to Luke 2:22-25.
Child Dedications are conducted four times a year. They are for infants and children 6 years old and younger.
